S.E.A. Dragons – Official Policies

S.E.A. Dragons is a registered private limited company based in Wales, committed to building a safe, inclusive, and high-performance esports environment. These policies apply to all players, staff, volunteers, community members, and partners who engage with us across competitions, social media, events, or platforms.
1. Code of Conduct
This Code applies to all members of the S.E.A. Dragons community, including:
Players and coaching staff
Content creators, analysts, and volunteers
Fans, followers, and Discord community members
Everyone is expected to:
Treat others with respect and professionalism
Refrain from harassment, discrimination, or toxic behaviour
Follow the rules of competition and fair play
Represent S.E.A. Dragons positively in and out of competition
Maintain a safe and supportive online environment
Breaches may result in removal from teams, bans from servers, or formal disciplinary action.
2. Safeguarding & Youth Protection
We are committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all, especially young people.
Age & Application Policy
18+ may contact us and apply directly.
16–17 must disclose their age and are encouraged to involve a parent or guardian in communication.
15 and under must have a parent or guardian contact us directly at patrykb@sea-dragons.com. The enquiry will be forwarded to our Head of Safeguarding, Heather Greer, for review on a case-by-case basis.
Safeguarding Oversight
All safeguarding matters are overseen jointly by our Team Principal and Head of Safeguarding. We follow best practices for digital safeguarding, and any player data or footage involving minors is handled with strict oversight.
3. Community Conduct (Discord, Social Media & Events)
Our community includes followers, fans, and members across Discord, Twitch, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and YouTube.
Community rules include:
No hate speech, racism, or offensive content
No targeted harassment or trolling
No spamming or unauthorised advertising
Respect team staff, moderators, and other community members
Use appropriate usernames and content in all platforms we host
We reserve the right to ban, mute, or remove users who do not follow these rules.
4. Data Privacy Policy
We collect and use limited personal and performance data for team operations, recruitment, and performance analysis.
We may collect:
Names, ages, and contact information
Player footage or statistics
Submitted media (highlight reels, applications)
All data is stored securely and is only shared internally or with partners involved in official team development or recruitment. We comply with UK data protection regulations and GDPR standards.
You may request to review, update, or delete your data at any time by contacting patrykb@sea-dragons.com.
5. Content Usage Policy (User-Submitted Media)
If you submit content (e.g. videos, highlights, clips), you agree that:
You have permission to share it
We may use your content for internal review or promotional purposes (e.g. recruitment highlights, social posts, events)
You can revoke permission at any time with written notice
We do not sell or monetise community content without consent.
6. Player Eligibility
Player eligibility is determined by age, skill level, and compliance with tournament regulations.
Minimum age: 16 (see safeguarding above for minors)
For the Welsh Esports League, 50% of the roster must be Welsh or have lived in Wales for 4 consecutive years
We welcome international applicants, subject to league rules
All players must agree to uphold our Code of Conduct and respect team expectations
7. Merchandise & Refund Policy
Merchandise (when launched):
Refunds are offered within 14 days for unused items but are offered only on a case by case basis.
Returns must be initiated via email and postage may be at the buyer's expense unless the product is faulty
Custom or limited edition items may not be refundable
Services (if applicable):
Refunds for services like content or coaching are handled case by case

8. Sponsorship & Partnership Policy
We welcome interest from sponsors, researchers, brands, and educational institutions.
We support:
Brand partnerships (apparel, content, events)
Research collaborations (performance, health, esports development)
Media partnerships (video series, podcasts, social campaigns)
